Style for your Shape Announces Relocation to Turriff Following Four Years in Aberdeen

Style for your Shape, the size-inclusive womenswear boutique that has proudly served customers across the Northeast since its establishment in October 2020, has announced plans to relocate its retail premises from Aberdeen to Turriff.

The business, which opened its Aberdeen high street store in July 2022 on Schoolhill, will close its current premises in the Trinity Centre on Saturday 27 June before reopening in its new home on Turriff's Main Street, formerly Willow Lane Boutique, on Thursday 2 July.

The move comes after a period of significant challenges for many city centre businesses. Despite every effort to adapt and grow, Style for your Shape has found it increasingly difficult to recover from the impact of various traffic measures and city centre changes introduced in late 2023, after experiencing a strong profitable start to business from 2020-2023.

"Making the decision to leave Aberdeen has not been easy," said the founder & owner, Victoria Mutch. "We have tried our hardest to make Aberdeen work, but unfortunately we have had to make the decision that is best for the long-term continuation of the business."

The relocation will allow the business to be closer to its growing customer base across Aberdeenshire and Moray, while continuing to provide the personal service, styling expertise and size-inclusive fashion that customers have come to know and love.

"I’m excited to be moving into the heart of Turriff and becoming part of a thriving town centre community. I look forward to being surrounded by other fantastic local businesses and bringing size-inclusive fashion and personal styling to the shire and beyond.  I’m also delighted to be moving the brand closer to my hometown as I’m originally from Macduff.”

While the business is moving out of Aberdeen, customers from the city are warmly encouraged to visit the new boutique.  There is parking next to the store and it is well connected by bus links through the town centre.

"We hope our Aberdeen customers will continue to support us and enjoy a day out to visit us in our new home. We are incredibly grateful for the loyalty and support we have received over the years."

As a thank you to its loyal customer community, existing customers will have received a special farewell treat for the Aberdeen store directly to their inboxes.

Style for your Shape invites customers to visit the Aberdeen store before its final day of trading on Saturday 27 June and looks forward to welcoming both familiar and new faces to Turriff from Thursday 2 July.

Style for your Shape will also be hiring new team members for the Turriff store, anyone wishing to enquire or apply can check the website www.styleforyourshape.com and social media pages for information.
